Containing a pandemic requires immense coordination.
The Contact Tracing Report Project brings together multiple stakeholders who have a role in or expertise about developing contact tracing platforms. This group was formed to leverage the experience and expertise of each member to make recommendations to communities in needs of such solutions. The final result will be an information source that will provide recommendations and considerations for the adoption of contact tracing from a city, community, and technology perspective.
Automating contact tracing presents new privacy risks and adoption challenges
- Cities and communities need to fully understand the technological considerations, adoption requirements, and privacy concerns to find the solution, or set of solutions, that will be most effective in their particular communities
- Companies, citizens, and communities must be engaged to address the issue
- Cities and the companies currently working independently on contact tracing solutions will benefit from knowing how their contact tracing information, platforms, and systems can be used together
