The Public Safety Initiative is a collaboration with the Austin Police Department to discover ways technology can be applied to make better use of the police department’s resources and improve safety.

The project is in its early ideation phases with the Austin Police Department exploring technological solutions to policing problems.

Objectives

  • Connect public safety officials with local technology providers to explore applications of IoT devices in public safety
